How do you deal with writer’s block?

Thankfully, I've never really experienced writers block and I think there are a few things I do which dodge it. Most important, I keep the bar very low when I have a blank page to fill. I also focus on structure and goals, and imagine what I want to see as a reader (not the author). The writing seems to flow from there. What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

There’s nothing like getting lost in creating your exciting odyssey. It’s a great escape, not just for readers. But first you need the whole story. I suggest trying something smallish first and saving your magnus opus for later, so you can experience the whole lifecycle quickly to see if it’s really for you. Writing’s not just rewriting (as someone said), there’s also production and online marketing too which can be half or more of the effort on a title. While we await Liberty One, I thought I'd stick to the space theme for this month's review. Rocket Men is a non-fiction account of Apollo 8, NASA’s first manned mission to leave Earth and head for the Moon in 1968. The astronauts didn’t land of course - that happened on Apollo 11 the following year, but the significance of this mission is that the crew were the first humans to leave planet Earth for another world.
